As a college student, reading assignments are the norm.
This book, The Worst Hard Time, was assigned for a history class.
No problem.
But reading it elicits so many questions....
Do I have the answers? Not so much...but I can try to uncover them.
But, does it even matter? What is my job as "the reader" of a book? To absorb? To question? To think? Or just to accept....
It's a nonfiction book...a National Book Award Winner, no less.
Anyway...it interests me. No more. No less.
If you do have a really great question feel free to email me at talkingbooks@yahoo.com or post it in the comments. I probably won't know the answer...but can see if anything can be found on it.
